Antipolo sits in the elevated foothills of the Sierra Madre range, just east of Metro Manila, and Forest Hills Golf and Country Club occupies that terrain with the kind of commanding presence you'd expect from one of the Philippines' established private clubs. The course rides across rolling, wooded hillside land, giving it a character distinctly different from the flatter layouts found closer to the capital — elevation changes are genuine here, and the views back toward Manila Bay on clear days are a legitimate bonus.
Forest Hills carries the reputation of a serious members' club serving Metro Manila's golfing community, a retreat from the city's density that still sits within reasonable driving distance. The surrounding Antipolo landscape — mango trees, tropical foliage, the occasional mist rolling off the Sierra Madre — lends the property an atmosphere that feels removed from the urban sprawl below, even when that sprawl is barely 30 kilometers away.
As a private facility, access is through membership or a member's invitation, which shapes the experience: well-maintained conditions, a familiar and loyal regular field, and the unhurried pace that serious golfers tend to value.
