Rambagh Golf Club

Few golf settings anywhere in the world carry quite this kind of historical weight. Rambagh Golf Club occupies the grounds of the Rambagh Palace — the former residence of the Maharaja of Jaipur — and the course winds through the palace gardens in a way that makes an ordinary round feel like something else entirely. The club is one of the oldest in Rajasthan, and the grounds retain the formal grandeur of their royal origins: manicured lawns, mature trees, and the pale pink sandstone architecture that defines Jaipur itself hovering at the edges of play.

The course is relatively compact and not a stern test by modern championship standards, but that misses the point.
