Few clubs in the Boston area carry quite the institutional weight of Weston Golf Club. Founded in the early 20th century, it stands as one of the older private member clubs in eastern Massachusetts, part of a dense and historically rich golf corridor that includes some of the most respected layouts in New England. The club has long been a fixture in the Massachusetts Golf Association's competitive calendar, hosting amateur events that draw serious players from across the state.
Weston sits in one of MetroWest's most affluent and wooded suburbs, roughly 12 miles west of Boston. The terrain here is classically New England — rolling, glacially carved land with mature hardwoods that put on a genuine show in October. That topography tends to reward course designers who work with the land rather than against it, and the property reflects the quiet, unhurried character of the town itself.
As a traditional private club, the experience here centers on the membership: unhurried rounds, well-maintained conditions, and the kind of understated atmosphere that defines old-money New England golf. Access is limited to members and their guests.
