Prospector

The Prospector is 1 of 2 18-hole courses at Superstition Mountain, the other being the Geronimo. Both were designed by Nicklaus Design, the firm behind much of the high-end desert golf development that swept the East Valley in the early 2000s. That lineage means expect forced carries over arroyos, generous but unforgiving fairway corridors, and greens that reward precision over power.

This is private, member-focused golf at the upper end of the Sonoran Desert market — the kind of club where the pace is unhurried, the conditions are meticulously maintained, and the scenery does as much work as the architecture. Winter and spring visitors from colder climates have long made the East Valley a seasonal destination, and Superstition Mountain represents that world at its most refined.
