Pau Golf Club

Few golf clubs anywhere in Europe carry historical weight quite like Pau. Founded in 1856 by a group of British officers and expatriates wintering in the Pyrenean foothills, it is widely recognized as the oldest golf club on continental Europe — a distinction that gives every round here a certain gravity.
