Few corners of the Mediterranean world frame golf quite like the southwest coast of Mallorca. Camp de Mar sits in a sheltered bay near Andratx — one of the island's most dramatic and quietly exclusive corners, where the Serra de Tramuntana mountains tumble toward pine-scented coves and the sea shifts through every shade of blue. This is not the Mallorca of package holidays; Andratx and its surrounding hills have long drawn a discreet international crowd who value privacy and scenery over bustle.
Golf de Andratx occupies that rugged, mountainous terrain directly, and the course works with the land's natural contours rather than flattening them away. The routing moves through pine forest and across hillside slopes, with elevation changes that reward course management and local knowledge. Views toward the coast appear at several points on the back nine, making the walk as much about the landscape as the scorecard.
For visiting golfers, this is a boutique experience — a course that feels genuinely embedded in its surroundings rather than dropped onto them, the kind of round that stays in the memory for reasons a handicap calculation can't capture.
