Manengon Hills sits in the central highlands of Guam, rising above the coastal flatlands in an island where golf has carved out a surprisingly serious foothold. Guam's warm, humid climate and frequent trade winds make every round a test of shot management — moisture hangs in the air year-round, fairways play soft, and the wind can shift unpredictably depending on whether you're exposed on a ridge or sheltered in a valley. The Hibiscus/Orchid combination at Manengon Hills takes its name from the tropical flora that defines the landscape, and the hillside terrain gives the layout genuine elevation change — rare on a Pacific island — that adds both visual drama and strategic variety uncommon in resort-style tropical golf.
With a par of 73, the course carries a slightly unconventional setup, suggesting an extra par 5 worked into the routing, giving longer hitters an opportunity to go low while the hills keep the card honest.
