Sobienie Królewskie Golf & Country Club

Sobienie Królewskie Golf & Country Club occupies a stretch of Mazovian countryside roughly 40 kilometers southeast of Warsaw, set within a landscape of river bluffs and mixed woodland above the Vistula valley. The club takes its name from the nearby village of Sobienie Królewskie — "Royal Sobienie" — a nod to a region that carries genuine historical weight, this corridor of the Vistula having been traveled by Polish kings for centuries. The course was designed by Donald Steel, the distinguished British architect whose work tends toward thoughtful, naturalistic routing rather than theatrical spectacle.
