Massey Park Golf Club sits along the Parramatta River foreshore in Concord, one of Sydney's inner-west suburbs, on a stretch of land that has served the local golfing community for decades. The course is operated by the City of Canada Bay Council, making it one of Sydney's genuine public access options — the kind of place where juniors learn the game, regulars walk the same fairways week after week, and visitors can roll up without a member to vouch for them.
At par 66, Massey Park is a shorter layout, weighted heavily toward par 3s and par 4s, which shapes its identity entirely. This isn't a course that tests you with length — it rewards precision, course management, and the ability to score on holes that offer little margin for wayward shots. That kind of layout tends to be more honest than it first appears.
The Concord setting gives the course genuine character. The inner-west has a dense, established feel, and playing golf beside the Parramatta River corridor places you in a greener, quieter pocket of a city that doesn't always make room for either.
