Peterson Air Force Base sits on the eastern edge of Colorado Springs, where the Front Range foothills give way to the high plains and Pikes Peak dominates the western skyline. Silver Spruce Golf Course is a military facility serving active duty personnel, veterans, and their families — one of the more scenic on-base layouts in the Mountain West, where the backdrop of a 14,000-foot peak is simply part of the view from the fairway.
