Pyle & Kenfig Golf Club

Few links courses in Wales carry the pedigree of Pyle & Kenfig. Founded in 1922 and stretching across the Kenfig Burrows — a vast, nationally protected duneland reserve on the South Wales coast — the club sits among some of the most dramatic natural golfing terrain in Britain. The course was laid out by Harry Colt, one of the towering figures of early 20th-century golf architecture, and his routing makes full, uncompromising use of the massive dune ridges and hollows that define the site. Wind off the Bristol Channel is rarely absent and transforms the challenge entirely depending on the day.
