President'S Reserve

Old Hickory sits along the Cumberland River just east of Nashville, taking its name from Andrew Jackson's famous nickname — the 7th President built his Hermitage estate just a few miles from here. That presidential history permeates this part of Middle Tennessee, a stretch of rolling countryside where the river bottomlands give way to cedar glades and hardwood ridges typical of the region.

President's Reserve carries that heritage in its name, and the layout occupies terrain that rewards golfers who pay attention to the land itself. Middle Tennessee's golf scene punches above its weight — Nashville's growth has brought serious investment in new and renovated courses, but the region's older layouts often have the better bones, shaped by ground that rises and falls naturally rather than being engineered from scratch.

As a par-72 track in the Nashville orbit, President's Reserve draws a mix of locals and visitors drawn to the city for more than honky-tonks. The Cumberland River corridor offers a distinct sense of place that a downtown range simply can't replicate.
