El Campanario

El Campanario is one of the most celebrated private golf clubs in central Mexico, set within the upscale residential community of the same name on the outskirts of Santiago de Querétaro. The course was designed by Jack Nicklaus and opened in the late 1990s, bearing the hallmarks of his design philosophy: dramatic elevation changes, generous landing areas that tighten as the hole demands decision-making, and greens that reward precise approach play rather than raw distance. The layout moves through a rugged, high-desert landscape at roughly 1,800 meters above sea level, which means the ball travels noticeably farther than golfers accustomed to sea-level conditions might expect.
