Oruro Golf Club

Oruro Golf Club sits at roughly 3,700 meters above sea level on the Bolivian altiplano, making it one of the highest-altitude golf courses on the planet. At that elevation, the air is thin enough that a well-struck ball can travel 20–30 percent farther than it would at sea level — a disorienting novelty for visiting golfers who suddenly find their 7-iron behaving like a 5-iron.
