大多喜カントリークラブ【PGM】

大多喜カントリークラブ is rooted in Chiba Prefecture's Isumi District — the rural, forested interior of the Boso Peninsula that has quietly become one of the densest concentrations of golf courses anywhere in Japan. The area's rolling terrain, cut through by river valleys and covered in cedar and broadleaf woodland, gave course designers natural contours to work with, and Otaki Town sits comfortably within that tradition. Operated under the PGM (Pacific Golf Management) network, the club is part of Japan's largest golf management group, which brings consistent conditioning and reliable access to what might otherwise feel like a tucked-in countryside retreat.

The Boso interior is a world away from the resort coastlines of Katase or the corporate courses ringing greater Tokyo, even though central Tokyo is reachable in roughly 90 minutes. Otaki itself is a small castle town known for its preserved Edo-period streetscape and the upper Yoro River valley — the golf sits within that unhurried, wooded atmosphere.

For visiting golfers, this is the kind of facility the PGM network does well: a well-maintained layout in genuine countryside, more suited to a focused round than a destination trip, but a genuinely pleasant escape from the capital.
