Fall Creek Falls State Park sits on the Cumberland Plateau in Van Buren County, one of Tennessee's most dramatic natural landscapes — a high, forested tableland cut through by gorges, waterfalls, and old-growth hardwood coves. The park itself is among the most visited in the Southeast, and the golf course is very much part of that experience: playing here means moving through the same rugged, scenic terrain that draws hikers and campers from across the region. The elevation and the canopy of mature trees give the course a feel quite different from the manicured resort layouts you find in Middle Tennessee's larger cities.
As part of the Tennessee Golf Trail, Fall Creek Falls belongs to a statewide initiative connecting public-access courses at state parks — a network designed to make quality golf available to everyday players across the state, not just those near metropolitan areas.
Expect a layout shaped by the land rather than imposed upon it, where the natural contours of the plateau do the design work, and where the surrounding scenery is as memorable as the round itself.
