The Deerpark Course

Few settings in Irish golf carry quite the historical weight of Fota Island Resort, where the Deerpark Course shares its grounds with one of Cork Harbour's great landed estates. The resort sits on Fota Island between Cork city and the town of Cobh, connected by causeways to the mainland and surrounded by the tidal waters of the estuary — a landscape that gives the property an almost otherworldly sense of seclusion.
