Hurricane Creek Country Club sits in Anna, a fast-growing community in Collin County about 40 miles north of Dallas along the US-75 corridor. This part of North Texas sits at the edge of the Blackland Prairie, where the landscape opens into wide, rolling terrain — a natural fit for a country club layout that can stretch out and let the land do the work. The Dallas-Fort Worth golf market is one of the most competitive in the country, and courses in the outer suburbs have historically had to earn their place.
As a country club, Hurricane Creek offers its members something the sprawling metroplex can make hard to find: a genuine sense of community anchored around the game, away from the density and traffic of the urban core. The pace and feel here is distinctly North Texas — open skies, warm seasons that run long, and winters mild enough to keep regulars on the course through most of the year.
Hurricane Creek takes its name from the waterway that shapes the property, and creek-lined corridors are a defining feature of North Texas parkland design. Water in play, wind off the prairie, and firm summer turf are the factors that define the challenge here more than any single number on a scorecard.
