Silesia Golf Resort Kravaře sits in the heart of Czech Silesia, the northeastern corner of the Czech Republic where the country meets Poland and a short drive from the industrial city of Opava. This is a region of broad agricultural plains and gentle rolling terrain — a landscape that lends itself naturally to parkland-style golf, open and readable yet shaped by mature trees and the quiet rhythms of a working rural countryside.
The resort layout plays through varied parkland ground, with water features and strategic bunkering providing the primary challenges. Like many of the better Czech resort courses built during the post-1990s expansion of golf across Central Europe, it aims at a guest experience that combines accessible scoring conditions with enough variety to reward repeat play. The Silesian setting gives it a calm, unhurried atmosphere quite distinct from the busier resort corridors around Prague or Brno.
For visiting golfers, this is genuine Central European resort golf — well-maintained, hospitable, and a reasonable base from which to explore a region with more golfing options than its modest international profile might suggest.
