Greenbackville sits at the very southern tip of Virginia's Eastern Shore, where the land fractures into marshland and tidal creeks before dissolving into the Chesapeake Bay and the Atlantic beyond. It's about as far off the beaten path as Virginia gets — a quiet, water-threaded corner of Accomack County where the pace is unhurried and the horizon stays wide and flat in every direction. Captain's Cove Golf & Yacht Club is part of a planned waterfront community, and the course reflects that setting — a layout where the surrounding canals, inlets, and wetland vegetation are woven into the design rather than pushed aside.
