Few courses in England carry quite the sense of layered history that Fulneck does. The club sits within the grounds of the Fulneck Moravian Settlement, a remarkable 18th-century community built by the Moravian Brethren on a hillside above the Tong Valley — a settlement so intact and significant that it is a designated conservation area. Playing golf here means moving through a genuinely historic landscape, with the terraced stone buildings of the settlement forming an extraordinary backdrop that you won't find anywhere else in British golf.
