Priddis Greens sits in the rolling foothills southwest of Calgary, where the prairies begin their long climb toward the Rockies. The property occupies genuinely dramatic terrain — open meadows, creek corridors, and stands of aspen and spruce that shift character with every season. On a clear day, the full sweep of the Front Range fills the western horizon, and that backdrop alone sets the tone before a shot is struck.
The club operates 2 distinct 18-hole layouts — the Hawk and the Eagle — designed by the respected Canadian firm of Graham Cooke & Associates and opened in the mid-1990s. The Hawk is generally considered the more demanding of the two, routing through tighter, more wooded terrain and asking for precise shot-shaping where the Eagle rewards a more power-oriented game. Both courses have earned consistent recognition among Canada's top-rated layouts, and the club has quietly built a reputation as one of the finest private facilities in Alberta.
Foothills golf comes with its own rhythms: afternoon winds that arrive off the mountains with little warning, firm and fast conditions when the Chinooks have been through, and a short but intensely beautiful season that tends to focus a golfer's attention.
