Kingston sits in the Annapolis Valley, one of Nova Scotia's most quietly beautiful agricultural corridors, where the land rolls between the North and South Mountains with apple orchards, farmsteads, and a particular quality of Maritime light that makes late-afternoon rounds feel genuinely unhurried. It's a part of the province that doesn't advertise itself the way the Cape Breton highlands do, but golfers who know Nova Scotia tend to know this valley.
Paragon Golf & Country Club is a private members' club serving the communities along this stretch of Kings County — Greenwood, Berwick, and the broader Valley population that forms a tight-knit regional golfing community. That private, members-only character shapes everything about the experience: the pace of play, the familiarity between members on the course, the sense that you're a guest in someone's home rather than a paying customer at a facility.
Without having played it myself, what I can say honestly is that a par-72 layout in this terrain has considerable natural material to work with — the Valley's gentle contours, its views toward the ridgelines, and its distinctly Maritime seasons that make every round feel earned.
