Few golf clubs in the Rhine-Main region carry the history that Golf Club Neuhof does. Founded in 1954, it ranks among the oldest clubs in the Frankfurt metropolitan area and has built a quiet but well-earned reputation over seven decades. The layout was developed across the gently rolling agricultural land of the Dreieich plateau, and the mature tree corridors that define so many of its fairways are the product of generations of careful stewardship rather than any designer's quick fix.
Dreieich itself sits just south of Frankfurt, close enough to the city that the club draws a serious, committed membership, yet the surrounding Dreieichenhain forest lends the property a calm and woody character that feels genuinely removed from the urban sprawl nearby. Winters here are mild by German standards but the course is fully seasonal, and spring and autumn tend to offer the most rewarding conditions.
As a traditional private members' club, Neuhof rewards repeat visits. The routing asks for patience and course management rather than raw power — a layout where local knowledge matters and the regulars tend to have a distinct advantage over first-time visitors.
