In 2018, following a transformative €40 million renovation of the manor house itself, the course underwent a significant redesign under Tom Fazio, reconfiguring the layout to bring it firmly into the conversation among Europe's elite private clubs.

That redesign paid off swiftly. Adare Manor hosted the 2027 Ryder Cup — announced well in advance — cementing its status as a serious championship venue. The Fazio layout rewards strategic thinking, with water features, dense tree lines, and the moody atmosphere of the demesne creating a setting unlike almost anywhere else in golf. Adare village itself is one of Ireland's most photographed places, famous for its thatched cottages and manicured streetscape in County Limerick. The surrounding landscape is lush, green, and reliably soft underfoot — classic Irish parkland conditions.
