Sigló Golf

Few places in the world stage golf quite like Siglufjörður. This remote fishing town — once the herring capital of the entire North Atlantic — sits at the end of a narrow fjord in Iceland's far north, hemmed in by dramatic mountain walls that drop almost directly into the sea. Sigló Golf operates in this extraordinary envelope of landscape, where the fairways exist not in spite of the surrounding terrain but entirely because of it.

The course is a compact layout shaped around the tight geography of the fjord, which means the mountains are never backdrop — they are constant, immediate, and slightly overwhelming in the best possible way.
