Golfbaan Ameland

Ameland is one of the Wadden Islands, a chain of barrier islands strung along the northern Dutch coast that collectively form one of Europe's most dramatic and ecologically significant landscapes. The island sits behind the tidal flats of the Wadden Sea — a UNESCO World Heritage site — and is reached only by ferry from Holwerd on the Frisian mainland. Hollum, the island's westernmost village, is the oldest and most traditional of Ameland's 4 settlements, characterized by captains' houses and a strong seafaring heritage.
