Red Hill Country Club carries a long and storied reputation as one of the Inland Empire's most prestigious private clubs, with roots stretching back to the mid-20th century. The course was designed by William F. Bell, the prolific California architect responsible for dozens of layouts across the state, and its mature trees, rolling terrain, and classic parkland character have made it a beloved retreat for members across generations. The grounds reflect the old-school sensibility of a club built for serious golfers who wanted something more than sunshine and scenery.
Rancho Cucamonga sits at the foot of the San Gabriel Mountains, where the foothills give way to the broad floor of the Inland Valley. The elevation and the presence of mature eucalyptus and sycamore throughout the property lend Red Hill a cooler, more intimate feel than the desert courses further east — it plays more like a Southern California foothill layout than anything resembling Palm Springs.
As a members-only club, Red Hill is a place defined by relationships and regularity — the rhythms of a weekly game among friends rather than a bucket-list destination. That exclusivity has helped the course age gracefully, well maintained and largely unchanged in character from its original design intent.
