Newberry Country Club sits in the heart of Michigan's Upper Peninsula, a part of the state where the pace slows down, the forests run deep, and golf feels genuinely unhurried. Luce County is remote by any measure — Newberry is the county seat, a small town surrounded by the vast Tahquamenon State Forest and within reasonable reach of Tahquamenon Falls, one of the largest waterfalls east of the Mississippi. Golf up here is a different proposition than what you find in the Lower Peninsula's resort corridors: it's local, unpretentious, and rooted in community.
