Vadrózsa Golf Club Tótvázsony

Vadrózsa Golf Club sits in the village of Tótvázsony, in the Veszprém County highlands of west-central Hungary — a region better known for its volcanic basalt hills, thatched farmhouses, and the vast inland sea of Lake Balaton just to the south. The Bakony hills create a landscape that shifts with the seasons: cool and forested in spring, baked golden in summer, and genuinely dramatic come autumn. It is not a part of Hungary where visitors expect to find golf, which gives the club an agreeable air of discovery.

Vadrózsa — the name means "wild rose" in Hungarian — is a modestly scaled course that draws a local and regional membership rather than an international touring crowd.
