Golf Kyburg

Few Swiss courses can claim a setting quite like this one. Kyburg takes its name from the medieval castle that crowns the ridge above the layout — Schloss Kyburg is one of the best-preserved fortresses in the Swiss Midlands, dating to the 12th century, and it looms over play in a way that makes even a routine approach shot feel historically loaded. The course occupies gently rolling countryside in the Töss valley east of Winterthur, where the landscape opens into farmland and deciduous woodland typical of the Zürich canton lowlands.
