Golf La Serenissima sits in the Lombardy region of northern Italy, where the Po Plain stretches south from the foothills that climb toward the Alps and Lake Garda. Brescia is one of Italy's great industrial and commercial cities, but step outside its center and the countryside opens into farmland, vineyards, and the gentle moraine landscapes left by ancient glaciers — terrain that lends itself naturally to parkland-style golf. The Garda area and its surroundings have quietly become one of northern Italy's more active golfing corridors, with several courses drawing both local members and visiting players who combine golf with the region's considerable appeal for food, wine, and the lake itself.
La Serenissima — the name borrowed from the old Venetian Republic's celebrated epithet — carries a certain quiet elegance in its identity. The course plays through mature trees and open park land typical of Lombardy's club golf, offering a composed, unhurried atmosphere that suits a members' experience rooted in the rhythm of the Italian golf day.
Brescia's position between Milan and Verona makes La Serenissima accessible from two of Italy's great cities, and the surrounding Franciacorta wine country adds a genuinely fine reason to linger after the round.
