Estela Golf Club

Few clubs on the Iberian Peninsula carry the quiet authority of Estela Golf Club, which opened in 1989 and has grown into one of northern Portugal's most respected layouts. Designed by the Portuguese architect Duarte Sottomayor, the course occupies a dramatic stretch of Atlantic linksland between the coastal towns of Póvoa de Varzim and Esposende, where fairways roll through duneland corridors and the ocean is never far from view or from mind.
