Few corners of the Mediterranean carry as much layered history as the Paphos district of Cyprus, and Secret Valley sits within it — carved into a dramatic limestone gorge just inland from the coast near ancient Kouklia, site of one of the most significant sanctuaries of Aphrodite in the ancient world. The course occupies a genuinely striking natural setting, where rocky valley walls and native vegetation frame nearly every hole, giving rounds here a sense of enclosure and discovery that's unusual even by Cyprus standards.
The layout makes strong use of its terrain, routing holes through and around the gorge in ways that demand both shot-shaping and careful club selection. The valley's natural contours create elevation changes and landing-zone puzzles that keep the course engaging well beyond what a flat-course yardage equivalent would suggest.
Cyprus golf is concentrated largely around Paphos and Limassol, and Secret Valley has long been a fixture of that regional scene — offering visiting golfers, who make up the majority of play here, a course that feels genuinely tied to its landscape rather than imposed on it.
