Robert Trent Jones Sr. carved Long Bay Club out of the Carolina lowcountry in 1990, delivering one of his final major designs before his death — and one that reflects the full maturity of his craft. The layout unfolds across a landscape of Carolina pines, wetlands, and the gently rolling terrain that defines this stretch of the Grand Strand corridor. Long Bay sits in Longs, South Carolina, just inland from the Myrtle Beach resort strip — close enough to be part of the Grand Strand's legendary golf concentration, yet removed enough to feel less commercial and more purely focused on the round itself.
