Sam Phran is a small district in Nakhon Pathom province, roughly 30 kilometers west of Bangkok, and the Rose Garden Golf Club sits within — or adjacent to — the broader Rose Garden resort complex, one of Thailand's best-known cultural tourism destinations along the Tha Chin River. The surrounding terrain is flat central-plains farmland, lush and green year-round, with the heat and humidity that defines golf in the Bangkok basin. Nakhon Pathom itself is one of Thailand's oldest cities, home to Phra Pathom Chedi, the tallest Buddhist stupa in the world.
