Landskrona Golfklubb sits on the flat, wind-swept coastal plain of western Skåne, a province that has long been Sweden's most fertile golfing ground. The club itself is one of the older established golf operations in the region, and its short-format course — the Korthålsabanan, literally the "short-hole course" — serves as the companion layout to its full championship track. This kind of par-3 or executive-length facility is a genuine fixture of Scandinavian golf culture, taken seriously as a place to sharpen the short game and work through a round when time is tight, not treated as an afterthought.
Landskrona sits on the Öresund strait, with views across to Denmark on clear days, and the maritime climate here means the wind is rarely a neutral factor. Even on a compact layout, that coastal air can make club selection genuinely interesting.
The surrounding landscape is low and open, classic Skåne farmland meeting the sea — none of the dramatic topography found further north, but an honest, unadorned setting that tends to reward players who pay attention rather than simply swing hard.
