Marco Island occupies the northernmost tip of Florida's Ten Thousand Islands, a maze of mangrove-fringed waterways at the edge of the Everglades. It's an unlikely setting for a private country club, but the island's affluent residential community — one of the largest barrier islands on Florida's Gulf Coast — has long supported a golf culture to match its real estate.
