Renishaw Park sits on the South Yorkshire–Derbyshire border, occupying grounds that have been associated with the Sitwell family's Renishaw Hall estate for centuries. The hall itself is one of England's oldest continuously inhabited houses, and the golf course carries that same sense of deep-rooted history — this is a place where the landscape has been shaped and tended over generations, not thrown up quickly for a weekend market.
