Osan University's golf practice facility sits on the campus of 오산대학교 (Osan University) in Osan, a mid-sized city in the southern reaches of Gyeonggi Province, roughly 40 kilometers south of Seoul along the busy corridor that runs toward Suwon and beyond. The facility exists primarily to serve the university community — students, faculty, and the surrounding campus population — rather than as a destination course, making it a working educational and recreational resource rather than a competitive venue.
Gyeonggi Province is the heartland of Korean golf culture, with an extraordinarily dense concentration of ranges, courses, and academies feeding the nation's intense enthusiasm for the game. Practice facilities attached to universities are common across South Korea, where golf programs and physical education departments treat the sport seriously at the institutional level.
As a campus practice facility rather than a full course, expect a range environment focused on fundamentals and repetition — the kind of place where a student works through a bucket of balls between classes, or a beginner builds a swing from the ground up, rather than where anyone posts a scorecard.
