Few courses in the American West announce themselves quite like Wolf Creek. Carved into the red rock canyon walls and rolling terrain above Eden, Utah, this layout has earned a reputation as one of the more visually dramatic public courses in the country — the kind of place where elevation changes are measured in gasps rather than feet. The course sits in Ogden Valley, a high mountain basin tucked between the Wasatch Range peaks east of Ogden, and the landscape does most of the talking before you even grip a club.
The design routes players through dramatic cuts in the hillside, with several tee boxes positioned at heights that make the fairways below look almost fictional.
