Fort Clark Springs sits on the grounds of a former U.S. Army frontier post in Kinney County, one of the more remote stretches of southwest Texas. The old fort, established in 1852 along Las Moras Creek, served as a staging point for the Buffalo Soldiers and later became a private resort community — and the golf course is very much part of that living-history atmosphere.
