Golfclub Gut Haseldorf e.V.

Gut Haseldorf occupies a working estate in the Haseldorfer Marsch, a stretch of protected wetland and meadow along the lower Elbe west of Hamburg. The course plays across genuinely flat, open marshland terrain — wide skies, grazing cattle on neighboring pasture, and the kind of unobstructed wind that makes club selection a puzzle from the first tee to the last. The club takes its name from the historic Gut Haseldorf manor, a Schleswig-Holstein estate with roots going back centuries, and that sense of old rural character carries through the grounds. The Haseldorfer Marsch itself is a designated nature reserve — a rare habitat for migratory birds and marshland flora — so the course exists within an environment that would be remarkable even without golf on it.
