Aeroclub Fortin Lobos Golf sits on the open pampa southeast of Buenos Aires, part of the flying club complex at Fortín Lobos — a small rural settlement in the partido of Lobos, Buenos Aires Province. The course shares its grounds with the aeroclub's airstrip, which is about as Argentine as it gets: the tradition of combining light aviation and golf at provincial clubs has a long, unpretentious history in the pampas, where flat land is abundant and civic institutions tend to serve a community's many leisure interests at once.
The landscape here is quintessential bonaerense countryside — wide, open, and sky-dominated, with the kind of horizon that makes even a short layout feel spacious. Wind is a constant factor on courses in this part of the province, and learning to manage it is often the real test, regardless of what the yardage says.
This is a club built for and by its members, not a destination resort. Expect a relaxed, social atmosphere, the warmth of a tight-knit local golf community, and a round that rewards course management and local knowledge over raw distance.
