鷲の峯カントリークラブ — "Eagle's Peak Country Club" — occupies the hill country northwest of Takasaki, where the Kantō Plain gives way to the rugged foothills of Gunma Prefecture. Gunma's interior climate runs to extremes — humid summers that can make the turf play soft and lush, and winters cold enough that many courses in the prefecture trim their schedules significantly between December and February.
