Aulangon Golf Eversti

Aulangon Golf has been part of the Aulanko landscape for decades, operating within one of Finland's most celebrated resort and nature areas — a forested park outside Hämeenlinna that has drawn visitors since the late 19th century. The Aulanko estate, with its observation tower, ornamental lake, and managed woodland, gives the course a setting that feels genuinely grand rather than manufactured. The "Eversti" (Colonel) course is one of several loops at Aulanko, and like the others it works through the area's characteristic mix of birch and pine forest, with the terrain offering enough undulation to keep every round honest. Finnish inland golf at its best tends to reward careful placement over raw power, and that holds true here — tree corridors and natural ground contours matter more than distance off the tee.

Hämeenlinna itself, roughly 100 kilometres north of Helsinki along the old King's Road, is one of Finland's oldest towns and a natural base for a golfing break in the southern interior lake district.
