Green Valley sits about 25 miles south of Tucson in the Santa Cruz Valley, framed by the Santa Rita Mountains to the east and the Sierrita Mountains to the west. It's a retirement-oriented community that developed steadily through the 1970s and beyond, and the Country Club of Green Valley reflects that character — a private club built around a membership that takes its golf seriously and its surroundings personally. The Sonoran Desert landscape does much of the aesthetic heavy lifting, with saguaro cacti, ocotillo, and desert scrub defining the edges of play.
