Leråkra Golfklubb sits just outside Ronneby in Blekinge, the southernmost stretch of the Swedish mainland before the coastline breaks into the Baltic archipelago. Blekinge is sometimes called "Sweden's garden" for its mild climate and unusually lush vegetation — conditions that make for a longer, more forgiving playing season than most of Scandinavia, and a course that stays genuinely green through the summer months.
The club is a well-established fixture in the Blekinge regional golf scene, drawing members from Ronneby, Karlskrona, and the surrounding coastal communities. The layout works through a wooded, hilly landscape typical of this part of Sweden — mature pine and deciduous forest framing the holes and demanding accuracy off the tee. The terrain gives the course a natural, unhurried feel, where reading the land matters as much as reading yardage.
Ronneby itself is a town with a quiet, old-fashioned dignity — a former spa town with a well-known nature reserve at Ronneby Brunn sitting practically on the doorstep. Playing here carries that same unhurried quality: honest, tree-lined Swedish parkland golf without pretension.
