Kennett Square Golf and Country Club sits in the heart of Chester County, one of Pennsylvania's most storied stretches of countryside. This corner of the Brandywine Valley carries genuine historical weight — from Revolutionary War battlegrounds to the Wyeth family's paintings of its rolling hills and fieldstone farmhouses — and a golf club here absorbs that sense of deep-rooted place almost by default. The land is gently undulating, the seasons dramatic, and the mature tree cover that defines so much classic Pennsylvania parkland golf is very much present.
As a private members' club, Kennett Square offers the kind of unhurried, relationship-driven golf experience that has largely disappeared from the public game — familiar faces, a course conditioned for its membership, and rounds played at a pace that lets the surroundings register.
