Twin Falls sits at the edge of one of Idaho's most dramatic geological features — the Snake River Canyon, where the high desert plateau gives way to sheer basalt walls carved by ancient volcanic and flood forces. Canyon Springs takes its name honestly: the course occupies terrain shaped by that same rugged landscape, where the sagebrush steppe and the canyon's natural contours do much of the design work that architects elsewhere have to manufacture from scratch.
